The 2nd edition of the conference “Railway Border Crossings”

It is done: The 2nd edition of the conference “Railway Border Crossings”, prepared and commenced by the initiative of the Foundation for Railways took place on June 21, 2022. The OLTIS Group became a partner of this event. The content included interesting presentations, factual and substantive discussions on current issues related to border crossing in Eastern Europe.
The conference presented the situation regarding the issue of border crossings in railway transport, especially in the context of the current geopolitical situation.
The panel discussions was focused, among others, on trade-related issues with foreign partners from Eastern Europe and Asia, as well as the risks that the TSL industry will face in the coming years.
Considerable attention has been paid to the evaluation of the new multimodal transport corridors that bypass Russia. We got acquainted with the project “Redesign of the timetable creation process” (TTR) for optimal capacity management, which is in our opinion interesting, modern and innovative.
