The 4th International Logistics Conference SpeedCHain was held 16 -17 May 2019 in Modrá u Pezinku, Slovakia.

Almost 200 logistics experts participated and met to discuss topics from the area of logistics. This year, the main themes were; the impact of Brexit on the economic growth of Slovakia, addressing the personnel crisis by ‘importing’ workers from the third world countries, workers from developing countries, the debate between an intergenerational exchange in the management of private companies or a solution for the digitization of the material flow.

This annual conference offered professional experience, case studies, panel discussions, two-day active networking and a gala evening with awards of the most important personalities in the sector of Slovak logistics. The congested premises of Zochova chata hotel has confirmed the fact that the main concept of the conference is reaching out more to individuals from the area of transport and logistics.

The CID International is one of the first and main companies that have been actively participating in this conference. This year we also took the opportunity to meet our current and potential customers, and we also presented our own exposition. Moreover, Mr. Vlastimil Kožej, Sales Director of CID International, presented an interesting lecture titled “New Technologies for Determining Container Position on the Terminal”.

The spirit of the conference was followed by rich discussions. We would like thank all of our customers and partners, who participated and were able to take part in this extraordinary event.
