OLTIS Group won the annual award ACRI 2012
This year the annual awards ACRI were given after Žofín Forum, which was devoted to current problems of Czech and European railways. One of the awarded companies was also OLTIS Group, which won the prize for Event of the year for their successfully organized conference IRIC 2011 (International Rail Infrastructure Conference).
In the six years of its existence, ACRI Annual Awards, awarded this prize to a lot of companies from the field of transport engineering. According to Marie A. Vopálenská the mission is also to support Czech railway industry with more than 200 years of tradition, which has recently gone through complex process of revitalization and which is nowadays again one of the important figures of the Czech economy.
ACRI gives this prestigius award under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. Partners are Czech Railways, The Railway Infrastructure Administration, ČD Cargo, Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation; and the Media partners are Dopravní noviny, Železničář, GRAND EXPRES ČD PRO VÁS and economics-technical review Doprava.
This award is a great honor not only for the organizers of the conference, but also for the work of all employees of OLTIS Group, who take part in the development of information systems for railways.
