OLTIS Group organized an IBS meeting in Pilsen

The 34th meeting of the International Association of Forwarding Companies (IBS), was held in Pilsen on October 10 – 11, 2013. OLTIS Group company was the main organizer of the meeting, where an impressive number of 43 IBS members took part in.

The program began on Thursday afternoon with a plenary session, followed by a workshop on “Innovations in the rail freight transport”. Subsequently the evening program took place in the Pilsner Urquell brewery. The participants of the meeting were mostly impressed with the interesting brewery tour, during which they were introduced to the technological process and history of brewing in Pilsen.

On Friday, the actual meeting of all IBS members took place. Several interesting lectures were part of the program. The opening was done by the presentation of Petr Kroča, who introduced the activities of OLTIS Group. Subsequently, the new members of IBS from Lugo Terminal (Italy), Via Cargo (Germany) and Floyd (Hungary) shortly presented the activities of their companies. The official program was ended with a guided tour through the Pilsen city center, where the guests had the chance to learn more about the rich history of this town.

OLTIS Group took this opportunity to present itself as a new fully integrated subject, which offers complex solutions for transport and logistics, and also as a partner offering cooperation on major European projects, which also promoted the business aspect of our participation at the meeting.

The next IBS meeting will be held in Barcelona on April 10 – 11, 2014.
