Konference „Horizons of Railway Transport“

New scientific conference “Horizons of Railway Transport” organized by the University of Žilina was held for second year. This time it was subtitled „Support of the railway infrastructure development as the mechanism to enhance the competitiveness of railway transport”.

Sponsorship which OLTIS Group provided to the organizers was associated with the company presentation in the conference proceedings and promotional booth in the foyer of the conference. Our colleagues also held a lecture there on subjects’ “TAF TSI: a chance for Europe’s railways?” (Mr. David Krásenský, OLTIS Group) and “Implementation of the National Registry of railway wagons” (Mr. Daniel Ciho, OLTIS Slovakia).

Other important presented themes were: Transport management, Business conditions in the European railway market and The capacity of the railway infrastructure (including charges for railway infrastructure).

Conference with participants from many European countries once again intensified our contacts with Czech and Slovak transport universities and confirmed our strong position among the experts who determine the latest trends in rail transport in Central Europe.
