OLTIS GROUP AT INOVATION OF THE YEAR 2017

The 24th “Innovation 2017, Week of Research, Development and Innovations in the Czech Republic” organized by the Association of Innovative Entrepreneurship of the Czech Republic took place in Prague from 5 – 8 December 2017. The event had three parts: the International Symposium, the International Trade Fair of Inventions and Innovation and the 22nd Innovation Awards of the year 2017 under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic.
OLTIS Group participated in the “Innovation of the Year 2017 Award” competition with the REAL-Bridge (Information Center for Euro-Asian Rail Transport) developed by the JERID Company. This year, a total of 14 applicants’ products based in the Czech Republic were evaluated. The Innovation Award of 2017 was won by ŠKODA MACHINE TOOL a.s., Pilsen with the product “Multifunctional Workplace HCW 4 S with Virtual Model and VNCK Simulation”.
As part of the International Fair of Inventions and Innovation, Mr. Petr Kroča, Director of Research and Innovation of OLTIS Group, had a presentation on subject “Practical Use of Funding Instruments” on 7 December 2017, in which he spoke about the internationally successful project results of the company within the EUREKA, Horizon 2020 and CEF programmes. Mr. Kroča also participated in a follow-up panel discussion on “How to prepare and present a successful EUREKA and Eurostars project” involving EUREKA and Eurostars National Coordinators from Spain, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
